hey cookaholics, chef kendra here. today we’remaking turkey chili which is one of my personal favorite comfort foods especially this timeof year. you know i love me some football. chili a big sandwich football. i’m prettyhappy. alright let’s do what we do. let’s head to the kitchen and make it happen. alright i’m getting started here by choppingsome red onions and bell peppers. if you don’t

pepper, black peppers. salt and thyme. nowi’m going to stir this up like so. make sure everything is mixed up well and thatyou scrape up the bits from the bottom of the pan. cause flavor, son! want to know what i think the difference inground turkey and beef in chili? of course you do, for real though ground turkey is leanerthan ground beef. with ground beef we have to drain the fat off before tossing in thebeans and tomatoes. besides it’s hard to tell the difference between the two when they’recooked in a flavorful chili. the kidney beans goes in and so of coursethat calls for more stirring. black beans would also be nice in this. perhaps a combinationof the two?

i’m going to add the crushed tomatoes andtomato sauce to the pot. stir this in really well, the next thing isto slap the lid on top, reduced the heat and let it go for about 35 minutes. now i’m going to ladle up some of our wonderfulturkey chili in this bowl and add some tasty toppings. yo, you can grab the recipe at chefkendraseasycooking.com.i’m going to leave you hanging all like that. i chopped up some extra red onions and i’mgoing to add a little of it on top here. now some extra cheddar cheese, but you can anytype of cheese you enjoy on your chili. of course sour cream because in my book no chiliwould be complete without sour cream or crã¨me
