cranberry juice cabbage soup diet
hi scandi friends! today, i'm going to make coleslaw or in danish it would be hvidkã¥lssalat. in my childhood we ate a lot of cabbage but it was usually soup or cream cabbage. i have to admit we didn'thave this kind of cold salad. but i think it's great here in the summertime. if youdon't want to heat up too much on the stove make this coleslaw. youcan make it ahead of time too...the day before.
cranberry juice cabbage soup diet, so, let's start making it. so, i cut off them stem then i take off the outer leaves. i can cut thecabbage in half.
i throw it in the bowl. i have the equivalent of five cupsof shredded cabbage. now, i'm going to shred the carrots. i'm also going to add about aquarter cup of shredded onion so here we have the half cup of mayo. i am now adding the juice of half a lemon. i have the yogurt. as well as the mustard, the celery salt and half a teaspoon of pepper. actually, i like to sprinkle driedcranberries and sunflower kernels on top of my salad. but that's optional.
so it's a couple of hours ago that i made the coleslaw or hvidkã¥lssalat. now i'm tasting it because i think it improves the flavor when you leave it for awhile mmm it's good. wonderful. of course it goes well with meat or fish just about anything or just eat it by itself likethis. it's great. hopefully you will also enjoy it. thanks for watching! skã¥l! i hope to see you another day
