grab your bowl, grab your spoon! today, my famous gluten-free granola on the weekend at the cottage. this is one of my all-time most requested recipes! i have a big canister of this gluten-free granola

unsweetened cranberry juice diet, always at the ready, at the cottage. when people get up early in the morning they always start with a bowl of this wonderful cereal. it's crunchy, it's flavourful, it is healthy!

you're going to love it. just wait until you try it. start with a large bowl. i have 3 cups of dry rolled oats, 1 cup of chopped pecans and 1 cup of shredded unsweetened coconut. add those 3 ingredients in. now, we have an assortment of nuts and seeds. they're all raw and unsalted. we start with 1/2 a cup of chopped walnuts, 1/2 a cup of sliced almonds,

1/2 cup of sunflower seeds, 1/2 a cup of chopped cashews. feel free to add your favourite seeds and nuts to make this recipe your own. how about hemp, flax, sesame seeds or then, what about pistachios or even peanuts. they'll all work and give this recipe a wonderful flavour. last thing is to add 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon. add the cinnamon to the bowl. stir everything together.

now we hit the stove top. we're going to make a liquid that we pour over this before it goes into the oven. medium saucepan, 1/4 cup of water, 1 tbsp of vanilla extract, a 1/4 cup of maple syrup. it will give it a great flavour. 1/4 tsp of salt and 2 tbsp of coconut oil. turn the burner on to medium-high and then allow it to almost come to a boil. once it's nice and hot we pour it over on top of the granola mix.

stir everything together until it's evenly coated. now we're ready to bake the granola. large baking sheet with parchment, divided into two even portions. spread it out nice and evenly. oven is preheated to 250 degrees the rack is in the top and middle position. slide your granola in and at the 30 minute mark, we're going to rotate our baking sheets. now when the granola comes out you're going to

leave it on top of your stove. right when it comes out, we're adding 1 cup of cranberries and raisins mix them up together and then evenly distribute them on top of your baking sheet, allow it to cool and before you know it, they're going to have a beautiful canister filled with granola like this. if you're looking at this story on www.weekendatthecottage.com head to
